About the Role Sunshine Coast Radiology is seeking a motivated and experienced Sonographer to join our growing team. Reporting to the Chief Sonographer , you will perform a variety of ultrasound examinations including breast, general, MSK, vascular and obstetrics and gynaecology within a fast-paced, patient-focused environment. You'll work alongside a highly skilled and supportive team of Radiologists, O&G Sonologist, Sonographers, and administrative staff , all committed to delivering exceptional patient care across the Sunshine Coast. With 13 clinics spanning Caloundra to Cooroy , including two hospital sites , Sunshine Coast Radiology provides comprehensive imaging services throughout the region - with an exciting new clinic opening at Maroochy Private Hospital in 2026 . Enjoy a varied mix of hospital and private clinic work, as well as a state of the art, dedicated breast imaging clinic (if applicable) On-call work available. Collaborate with radiologists and colleagues. Ensure rooms are restocked, cleaned and patients are finalized. About You - Bachelor of Medical Sonography/Graduate Diploma or Masters of Medical Ultrasound with current registration with ASAR. Ideally 2 years postgraduate ultrasound experience. An all-rounder with competencies in a variety of ultrasound examinations including breast, general, obstetrics and vascular with a keen interest in MSK. Prepared to participate in a rotating weekend on-call roster between 5pm - 8am. The ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team. A willingness to participate in further education and continued professional development programs. Experience with Canon is ideal. Highly developed interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to build effective relationships and communicate with a diverse range of people internally and externally.
