About the role Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer and sitting on the leadership team, the Fundraising and Engagement Manager plays a critical role in leading teams to develop capacity across fundraising, engagement and marketing. This is both a strategic and hands‑on role , where you will lead a specialist team of fundraisers, work closely with external agencies and partners, and act as a champion for embedding philanthropic culture across the organisation. In this role, you will Lead a multi‑channel fundraising and engagement strategy aligned to organisational priorities Manage, coach and develop a small team across fundraising, philanthropy, and engagement Grow income across individual giving , gifts in wills , grants , and corporate partnerships . Lead the development of fundraising systems , CRM capability and digital donor journeys Strengthen community engagement ( communications and activations ) through volunteers, supporters and key stakeholders Oversee the delivery of a new website and work with agencies on campaigns , messaging and collateral. What you will bring Demonstrated experience in fundraising and/or philanthropy A proven ability to secure income from multiple fundraising streams Confidence leading and developing teams Strong relationship‑building skills with donors, partners, agencies and senior stakeholders Practical experience with CRM systems, reporting and fundraising operations Exposure to capital campaigns or large‑scale philanthropic initiatives, or a strong interest in building capability in this space, will be well regarded.
