Job Title: Senior Boomi Architect Location: Melbourne, VIC (Remote) Experience: 12 Years (7 Years in Boomi) Role Type: Enterprise / Global Integration Architect Role Summary: We are hiring a Senior Boomi Architect to lead enterprise-wide integration strategy across cloud, on-premise, and hybrid environments. This role focuses on designing scalable, secure, and high-performance integration solutions while driving API-led and event-driven architecture across complex ecosystems. You will play a key role in architecture governance, stakeholder engagement, and large-scale program delivery. Key Responsibilities: Lead enterprise integration architecture and define scalable integration roadmaps, API-led frameworks, and reusable data models. Design high-availability Boomi architectures (Atom, Molecule, Cloud) and drive modernization of middleware platforms. Architect and oversee integrations across SAP, Oracle, Salesforce, Workday, and ServiceNow, including REST/SOAP APIs, EDI, batch, and event-driven integrations. Establish CI/CD pipelines, governance standards, monitoring, and performance benchmarks. Ensure security and compliance with OAuth 2.0, JWT, encryption, and regulatory standards. Provide technical leadership, mentor teams, and collaborate with stakeholders on solution design and delivery. Key Skills: Boomi Architecture (Atom, Molecule), API Management, REST & SOAP, EDI (X12/EDIFACT), JSON, XML, SQL, XSLT, CI/CD (Git, Jenkins, Azure DevOps), AWS/Azure, Kafka/MQ, Security (OAuth, JWT, SSL), Integration Governance, Microservices, Hybrid Integration Requirements: 12 years of IT experience with 7 years in Boomi, strong expertise in enterprise integration architecture, and experience handling large-scale, multi-system integrations. Proven ability to lead architecture decisions, ensure scalability, and drive best practices. Boomi certification and experience with global rollouts or legacy migrations (Informatica, MuleSoft, Tibco) are highly preferred. Ideal Candidate: Architect mindset with strong business acumen, capable of translating business requirements into integration solutions.
