About the Role We are seeking an experienced Chef to join our talented culinary team at Sam's Indian Cuisine in Flagstone QLD 4280. As our Chef, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking high-quality Indian cuisine in a full-time role. What You'll Be Doing Preparing and cooking a variety of authentic Indian dishes using fresh, high-quality ingredients Ensuring all food is prepared to the highest standards of taste, presentation and food safety Assisting in menu planning and development to reflect seasonal changes and customer preferences Maintaining a clean and organised kitchen environment Training and mentoring junior kitchen staff Collaborating with the front-of-house team to provide an exceptional dining experience for our customers What We're Looking For Minimum AQF Certificate IV in Commercial Cookery or equivalent qualification At least 2 years of work experience with Indian cuisine within Australian standards of cookery Proven expertise in preparing a wide variety of authentic Indian cuisine Strong time management and multitasking skills to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to food safety and hygiene Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team Passion for delivering an outstanding dining experience for our customers What We Offer At Sam's Indian Cuisine, we pride ourselves on creating a positive and supportive work culture.
