About the role As the Equipment Coordinator Driver, you're the face of our business with customers. We'll support you with the training and development you need to succeed, but make no mistake, this role matters. It is the critical link between the branch, our customers and their projects (big, small and everything in between). You'll make our customers' jobs easier by providing expert advice, completing pickups and deliveries, and ensuring equipment is ready, safe and hire-ready every time. This role requires you to; Instruct and demonstrate to customers on the safe use of our equipment Perform pickup and delivery of equipment to and from customer sites, including safe loading and unloading Provide exceptional customer service in every interaction Maintain high standards of equipment quality through regular servicing and minor repairs Carry out cleaning of branch facilities and equipment as required Complete accurate equipment check-in and check-out inspections About you Successful applicants have come from various backgrounds such as; Customer service, building & construction, hospitality, retail, driver, landscaping, trade & maintenance. A current drivers licence is essential The availability to work Saturdays on a rotating roster This role requires some physical components including lifting and standing on your feet for long periods. A level of physical fitness is required and the ability to pass a drug test Strong communication skills Be proactive and keen to learn new skills An interest in machinery and equipment, although training will be provided A positive attitude and team player Why Join the Kennards Hire Family?
