This is a contract opportunity on an 8:6 FIFO roster from Perth, a great chance to advance your geology career with a major industry leader. About the Role: The opportunity to work on technically challenging orebodies within a long-life mining operation. You will join the Resource Development function within the Exploration Team, where you will lead the near-mine surface drilling program to identify and evaluate potential mineral resource upgrades and extensions. Key Responsibilities: Act as the appointed Statutory Supervisor on site. Operate B2B with another Senior Geologist, taking supervisory responsibility for the Resource Development team, drill rigs, and site safety when the alternate Senior is offsite. Communicate effectively and clearly across multiple departments and stakeholders. Supervise near-mine RC and diamond drilling programs, including RC chip and diamond core logging, mentoring graduate geologists, maintaining rig safety standards, and delivering daily operational reporting. About You Tertiary qualification in Geology or a related discipline. Current Statutory Section 26 Certification. Minimum of 7 years’ experience in the mining industry, preferably within gold operations. Proven leadership experience in mine geology or resource definition roles. Current C-class manual driver’s licence. Current and clean police clearance.
