Komemo Constructions is seeking a motivated Electrical Apprentice to join its growing in-house Electrical and HVAC team. This is an excellent opportunity to complete an A-Grade Electrical Mechanic Apprenticeship while working across a diverse range of commercial and residential sites throughout Perth.

Komemo Constructions is a construction company specialising in the construction, operation, and maintenance of multiple aged care facilities and residential villages across Perth. With over 10 staff and dedicated Electrical and HVAC departments, Komemo manages 5 aged care facilities and 2 residential villages, delivering high-quality in-house trade services.
The head office is located in Burswood, with workshops in Osborne Park and Jandakot, and active sites from Joondalup through to Aubin Grove.
The Role
The Electrical Apprentice will work under the supervision of licensed tradespeople and gain hands-on experience across maintenance, construction, and mechanical services projects.
Key Duties Include:
- Assisting tradespeople while learning the electrical trade
- General electrical maintenance and repairs in aged care and residential environments
- RCD testing and log bookings
- Test and Tagging of electrical appliances
- Switchboard inspections and minor repairs
- Installation and testing of new electrical circuits and equipment
- Installation, maintenance, and replacement of air conditioning, refrigeration, and ventilation systems
- Commercial and residential maintenance and renovation work
- Participation in the construction of a new aged care facility commencing in Padbury (2026)
About You
Komemo Constructions is looking for a candidate who:
- Has a positive, can‑do attitude and genuine interest in the electrical trade
- Is compassionate and respectful when working in aged care environments
- Lives north of the river (most starts will be Osborne Park or Joondalup)
- Is reliable, willing to learn, and able to follow instructions
Essential / Preferred Criteria
- Cert II Pre‑Apprenticeship in Electrotechnology
- Manual Driver’s Licence
- White Card
- Ability to obtain a National Police Clearance
