Description Join our Downer Professional Services team and play a key role in delivering complex defence and national security projects that safeguard Australia’s future. Downer Professional Services is comprised of two business units, our Technical, Advisory, and Capability consulting practice and Team Downer, a major service partner to Defence. Together, we are a multi-disciplinary advisory and delivery partner of choice for our clients in Defence and National Security. We currently have an opportunity for a Cyber Security Compliance Manager in Canberra to work on a project in deployed ICT ecosystem, managing the reporting of compliance cyberworthiness. What You’ll Do This role offers a broad scope, with key role responsibilities including: Provide technical and non-technical reporting on patching compliance rates of each system. Provide SME advice on system patching requirements. Provide business intelligence on the capability. Provide and escalation point for System/Domain representative and advocacy within the Directorate. Build and maintain a rapport with the ADF Local System Administrators to provide sustainable and functional IT service Utilise ITSM tooling and other systems to track performance metrics, analysis of data and the generation of reports. What You’ll Bring Demonstrated experience managing ICT compliance in a complex and regulated environment with strong focus on system patching and cyberworthiness. Proven ability to analyse and interpret compliance and patching data. Strong experience engaging with defence stakeholders, system administrators and industry partners. Due to the nature of the work, you are required to currently hold and maintain a minimum Negative Vetting 1 or higher Security clearance as required by the Commonwealth. In some instances, compliance with International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) requirements may also be an inherent requirement.
