About the Opportunity An exciting opportunity is available for an experienced Clinical Manager to join a well-established residential aged care home in Bendigo. This role offers the chance to play a key leadership role in shaping the clinical standards of the service while supporting and developing a dedicated team of nurses and care staff. Working closely with the Facility Manager and broader leadership team, you will oversee the day-to-day clinical operations of the home, ensuring residents receive safe, high-quality, person-centred care. This is an ideal opportunity for a strong clinical leader who enjoys mentoring teams, improving care outcomes, and driving continuous improvement within a well-resourced service. Key Responsibilities Provide strong clinical leadership and day-to-day guidance to nursing and care teams Oversee clinical assessments, documentation, and care planning processes Support high standards of clinical governance, compliance and best practice care Monitor clinical indicators and use data to identify improvement opportunities Lead incident management, risk identification and quality improvement initiatives Build strong relationships with residents, families and multidisciplinary healthcare teams Mentor and support nurses and care staff to strengthen capability and confidence Contribute to accreditation readiness and ongoing regulatory compliance What We’re Looking For Registered Nurse with current AHPRA registration Demonstrated experience in a Clinical Manager, Care Manager, or senior clinical leadership role within residential aged care Strong understanding of clinical governance, aged care standards and compliance A collaborative leadership style with a passion for mentoring and supporting teams Confidence in clinical decision-making and care planning Strong organisational, communication and problem-solving skills A genuine commitment to resident-centred care and continuous improvement Experience with funding models or accreditation processes is advantageous but not essential. Full support and training will be provided.
