Seeking a TechnologyOne Finance Module Consultant Location: East Perth Start Date: As Soon As Possible End Date: July 1st, 2026 (with possible 1-month extension) Your new company A major public-sector transformation program is seeking a Principal Consultant - Business & Financial Services to support the Program, a strategic initiative delivering a contemporary administrative and financial solution to replace a legacy School Information System and strengthen financial management capability across the school network. This role is a hands-on consulting position, embedded within the Finance Program streams, with a strong focus on TechnologyOne CiA Finance module. You will play a critical role in supporting finance stakeholders, shaping deployment processes, building internal capability, and configuring the TechnologyOne platform to ensure it is fit for purpose, scalable, and well governed. The candidate should be comfortable operating in detail configuring, testing, training, and supporting TechnologyOne CiA Finance module outcomes alongside program delivery activities. Your new role In this role, you will be responsible for: Providing expert advice and hands-on support to the Finance Team across multiple program streams Configuring and supporting TechnologyOne CiA, including finance modules and XLOne functionality Developing and documenting business processes to support pilot, deployment, and rollout activities Upskilling program team members and key users in TechnologyOne CiA and XLOne, including onboarding and ongoing support Developing testing strategies, scripts, and artefacts to support SIT, UAT, and deployment validation Supporting pilot and deployment activities, working closely with business, technical, and vendor stakeholders Contributing to the establishment of a TechnologyOne CiA Centre of Excellence within the program Ensuring deliverables align with the overall Program Plan, governance requirements, and quality standards TechnologyOne configuration experience, TechnologyOne finance module experience is a must What you'll need to succeed To be successful in this role, you will bring: Extensive hands-on experience with TechnologyOne CiA, finance modules Proven experience implementing or supporting Financial Management Solutions in complex environments Demonstrated capability configuring enterprise finance platforms, not just advising on them Experience using a range of software applications to support finance and reporting functions Strong understanding of finance operations, controls, and reporting requirements Excellent communication skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts into clear, practical outcomes for non-technical stakeholders Experience working within large programs, ideally in the public sector or highly governed environments Key deliverablesDeliverables under this engagement will include, but are not limited to: A documented Change Management Strategy for TechnologyOne CiA TechnologyOne CiA and XLOne training materials, development, and support Testing artefacts, deployment documentation, and operational readiness outputs Ongoing support for the Program's deployment and transition activities What you'll get in return This is a high-impact opportunity to contribute to a major, future-focused transformation program, working with experienced professionals on a solution that will directly support school communities for years to come.
