What we’re looking for: We are currently on the lookout for a positive, technically minded Purchasing Officer to join our amazing team on a full-time permanent basis. Your new role: As our Purchasing Officer, you will help drive the planning and execution of procurement activities to uphold our market leading position and support growth across the business. While the diversity of this role means you will be wearing many different hats, your key responsibilities include: The preparation and processing of purchase orders in accordance with company policies and procedures. Proactively ordering branch stock and raising new product codes in conjunction with the needs of the sales team. Maintaining purchasing and pricing records and data in the businesses system. Sustaining stock system records and data to ensure maximum fill rate and service rate targets are met. Offering the best possible support to the branch manager and the team with pricing enquiries, quotations, and proactive delivery updates. Providing a high level of customer service across all levels of the business.
