Full Time, Continuous Contract ABORIGINAL IDENTIFIED POSITION About the role This role involves working with young Aboriginal men and women to engage them in Congress programs and services. The primary purpose of this position is to support and enhance the Redtails/Pinktails Right Tracks program by fostering partnerships and collaboration with both town and community sporting clubs and teams. The goal is to promote healthier social norms regarding the use of tobacco, alcohol, and other drugs, as well as addressing issues related to violence, leadership, and personal responsibility. Additionally, this role will contribute to the coordination and integration of primary health care services, education, and training. To be considered for this position, you will require: Experience in leading, developing and maintaining effective networks, alliances and relationships with families, individuals, communities, sporting clubs and health sector organisations Demonstrated experience in engaging and working closely with Aboriginal youth Demonstrated experience in remote community engagement, collaboration and relationship development Experience in coordinating community events with a variety of stakeholders, including planning, implementation and evaluation Strong literacy, numeracy and computer skills to create reports and correspondence Current NT Drivers Licence.
