To support the continued growth of our Client Services team, we are seeking a motivated and career-driven Trainee Project Manager to join our Victorian Branch. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to further develop their career in project delivery within the electrical and communications industry. It would particularly suit an experienced Foreperson or Site Supervisor looking to take the next step into project management. Working closely with experienced project managers, engineers, estimators, supervisors, and field teams, you will assist in the successful delivery of a diverse range of projects. In this role, you will support all facets of project management, including planning, coordination, scheduling, procurement, administration, client liaison, and delivery support. Key responsibilities include: Assisting in the planning and delivery of electrical and communications projects Supporting project managers with scheduling, procurement, cost tracking, and reporting Coordinating subcontractors, suppliers, and internal field teams Liaising with clients and stakeholders to maintain strong working relationships Helping ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently, on time, and to a high standard Supporting compliance with company Safety and Quality requirements Assisting with project documentation, variations, and contract administration Contributing to the effective financial management of projects To be successful in this role, you will ideally have: A Grade Electrical Licence ACMA Cablers Registration Experience in a Foreperson, Site Supervisor, Leading Hand, or similar site-based leadership role A strong interest in transitioning from site-based leadership into project delivery and management The ability to build and maintain strong relationships with customers and internal teams Good organisational skills and attention to detail Strong communication skills and a proactive approach to problem solving Experience using MS Project and/or other project management software would be advantageous Exposure to commercial electrical or communications installations would be highly regarded Must hold the right to work in Australia.
