About the Position We are seeking a highly motivated, customer-focused, and dynamic leader to join our team as a Retail Manager at The Trustee for GOPINATH INVESTMENT TRUST’s Mobil Jimboomba location. This role is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the site, ensuring the delivery of exceptional customer service, effective team leadership, and full compliance with company standards and procedures. The ideal candidate will be a proactive and results-driven professional who thrives in a fast-paced retail environment. You will play a key role in driving business performance, managing staff efficiently, and maintaining high operational standards while fostering a positive and engaging workplace culture. Key Responsibilities Oversee daily operations of the fuel station and convenience store to ensure efficient and seamless service delivery. Lead, train, and motivate team members to consistently deliver exceptional customer service. Manage inventory levels, coordinate stock replenishment, and maintain accurate records. Ensure full compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations. Drive sales performance by implementing effective promotional and operational strategies. Address customer enquiries and resolve issues promptly to maintain high satisfaction levels. Maintain accurate financial records, including conducting regular bank reconciliations. Prepare and review financial reports to support informed business decision-making. Requirements Australian citizens and permanent residents are encouraged to apply. Qualifications: Diploma or higher in business, management, or a related field. Experience: At least 1-year full-time experience in a similar store leadership role. Demonstrated success in driving sales. Strong leadership with ability to motivate and build a high performing team, with a positive culture. High degree of interpersonal & communication skills with Excellent customer service. Proficiency in inventory and financial management. Ability to work under pressure and solve problems effectively. High degree of resilience & ability to priorities and manage conflicting priorities. You are smart yet humble and ultimately you have no ego! Ability to create a positive culture of safety. Basic computer literacy, including familiarity with POS systems and MS Office. The employer will offer: A full-time contract on annual salary between $ 78,000 - $ 85,000 depending on skills and experience in addition, the compulsory super contribution as applicable.
