The Role This is a new opportunity for a Senior Associate or Special Counsel to join our growing and highly regarded Commercial Disputes & Insolvency team in Perth. The role will see you working across a range of complex commercial litigation and insolvency matters, Your key responsibilities will include the following: Manage litigation files including discovery, evidence preparation, and court documentation Draft pleadings, affidavits, correspondence, and legal advice Advise on contractual disputes, director duties, and debt recovery Drive enforcement actions Appear in court for procedural hearings and support senior counsel Contribute to business development and marketing initiatives Who We Are Looking For The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years’ PQE from a reputable commercial litigation practice and firm. You are a commercially minded lawyer who has strong drafting and analytical skills, a keen eye for detail, and a proactive approach to solving legal problems. You’re confident working independently, but also thrive in a collaborative team environment. Your communication skills allow you to build rapport with clients and colleagues alike, and you’re motivated to grow your expertise in complex disputes and litigation matters. Candidates with a transportable practice will be highly regarded, though not essential.
