About the Position: The Early Childhood Teacher role at Little Zak’s Academy in Ryde is essential for delivering high-quality, inclusive education and care that aligns with the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and National Quality Framework (NQF). This position involves planning and implementing engaging, play-based programs that promote children’s holistic development, while maintaining a safe and stimulating environment, collaborating with the team, and building strong partnerships with families to support each child’s learning journey and wellbeing within the centre. Key Responsibilities: Designing and implementing inclusive, play-based learning programs that support children’s cognitive, social, emotional and physical development Observing, assessing and documenting children’s learning and developmental progress, and using this information to plan and extend learning experiences Creating a safe, nurturing and stimulating learning environment that supports children’s wellbeing and development Supporting positive behaviour guidance and fostering respectful relationships with children Working collaboratively with educators, Educational Leaders and Centre Management to deliver high-quality education and care Communicating effectively with families regarding children’s learning, development and wellbeing Ensuring compliance with the National Quality Standard (NQS), Education and Care Services National Law and Regulations, and service policies Maintaining accurate records, documentation and confidentiality requirements Participating in professional development and contributing to continuous improvement within the service Requirements: Australian citizens and permanent residents are encouraged to apply.
