Full-time 38 hours per week(Part-time will be considered), fixed term 12 month contract (Parental Leave Coverage) Warrnambool Campus $85,521 per annum (pro-rata), plus superannuation The Workforce Development Officer leads the coordination, planning and delivery of learning & development initiatives across South West TAFE, ensuring staff have access to high quality, relevant professional development. The role manages professional development activities, oversees the annual workforce development budget, administers surveys such as People Matter, and prepares detailed reports for executives and external agencies. It also coordinates major workforce initiatives including the annual staff conference, leadership development programs, online training modules and the Workforce Development Plan. A key function is building strong internal and external relationships working with staff, government agencies, training providers and other partners to ensure SWTAFE’s workforce continues to grow capability, engagement and performance. The must haves Mandatory requirements A degree in human resources or business administration (or similar discipline) with relevant experience or lesser formal qualifications with substantial experience. Expertise in human resources or learning & organisational development environment may be considered Project Management and associated administration experience Advanced competency in the use of the Windows operating environment, including a sound operational knowledge of the MS Office and similar digital systems Employee Victorian Working with Children and satisfactory Police Check Highly desirable requirements Experience in the Vocational Education & Training (VET) Industry and/or educational environment Knowledge of Adobe products, Smartsheet, SWTAFE Online (Moodle) and Culture Amp About us SWTAFE is the leading vocational education provider in South West Victoria.
