Tier One Bank Great leader & team Career Development Opportunity Technical Consultant – IDAM & MFA Brisbane, CBD 12 Months contract Entra ID |AzureAD | MFA | PAM Our client is looking for Technical Consultant – IDAM & MFA to supports the implementation of key cyber security projects, including Privileged Access Management (PAM), Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA), Essential 8 uplift initiatives, and NIST CSF 2.0 maturity. The experienced Cyber Security Specialist to provide specialist technical expertise and implementation support for these projects. The Specialist will work under the Cyber Program leadership to ensure alignment with enterprise security strategy and integration across Corporate and Control (Operational Technology) environments. Must Have experience in: Strong track record of technical delivery and implementation in PAM/MFA initiatives within enterprise environments. Ability to support technical coordination and readiness activities with onsite teams to ensure all Cyber Security prerequisites are met prior to delivery partner engagement, including hardware upgrades, network segmentation, system hardening, and SCADA security enhancements. Release and Change Management: Oversees release planning activities including coordination with Change Advisory Boards (CAB) and Management of Change (MoC) processes to ensure smooth deployment of Cyber Security solutions. Cutover and Implementation Oversight: Leads the cutover process in consultation with delivery partners and site teams, ensuring minimal disruption and secure transition to new systems and controls. Cyber Security Experience Across IT/OT: Brings over 5 years of experience applying cyber security principles across both operational technology (OT) and information technology (IT), with a strong understanding of industrial control systems and enterprise environments. Demonstrated ability to collaborate with program leads, architects, and vendors to deliver aligned, secure outcomes. Familiarity with regulatory and compliance frameworks relevant to critical infrastructure. Specialised understanding of cyber security principles, regulatory requirements, and standards relevant to critical infrastructure and enterprise security. What you will be doing? Identity &Access Management Configure and manage Microsoft Entra ID security controls. Strengthen Conditional Access, MFA, PAM and Privileged Identity Management (PIM). Enforce least privilege and RBAC across Azure subscriptions. Technical Expertise Strong experience in Azure cloud security, including Entra ID and Microsoft Sentinel, KQL Hands-on experience with EDR and vulnerability management tools (e.g., CrowdStrike, Qualys). Scripting (Bicep, PowerShell, Python, Azure CLI) Experience implementing security controls aligned to ISO 27001 and Essential Eight. Knowledge of DevSecOps and Infrastructure-as-Code security practices. Experience across Windows, Linux, cloud and server environments.
