As a Senior Mental Health Clinician, you will deliver advanced biopsychosocial assessments, formulation and evidence-based therapeutic interventions for consumers with more complex mental health needs. Therapeutic approaches may include CBT, ACT and trauma-informed interventions delivered through individual and group support. You will contribute to recovery-focused care planning and coordinated support within a multidisciplinary team, ensuring consumers experience care that is holistic, connected and responsive to their needs. A key part of the role is building capability across the team through mentoring, consultation, clinical supervision and supporting students on placement. This is a full-time 12-month fixed-term position (to 30 June 2027) with potential extension. The service operates Monday–Friday, with some extended hours up to 7pm on two days per week. Benefits & Perks • Flexible work arrangements that support wellbeing • Salary packaging up to $15,900 $2,650 meals & entertainment • Ongoing professional development and clinical supervision • Grand Pacific Health Staff Conference • Employer paid parental leave (in addition to Government PPL) • Free and confidential Employee Assistance Program Key Responsibilities • Deliver advanced biopsychosocial mental health assessments and formulation • Provide evidence-based therapy including CBT, ACT and trauma-informed approaches • Deliver recovery-focused interventions for consumers with complex needs • Participate in multidisciplinary case discussions, care planning and reflective practice • Support family and carer involvement where appropriate • Provide clinical mentoring, consultation and supervision to clinicians and students • Support the team in responding to crisis situations and high-distress presentations Skills & Experience You will be an experienced Mental Health Clinician with strong therapeutic and leadership capability. You will have: • Full AHPRA registration as a Clinical Psychologist, Psychologist, Credentialed Mental Health Nurse, or Occupational Therapist (OTA mental health accreditation), or AASW accreditation as a Mental Health Social Worker • Advanced clinical experience in mental health service delivery (ideally 2 years postgraduate) • Demonstrated experience delivering evidence-based therapeutic interventions such as CBT or ACT • Strong skills in biopsychosocial assessment, formulation and recovery-focused care • Excellent communication, consultation and stakeholder engagement skills About Grand Pacific Health Grand Pacific Health is a not-for-profit health provider delivering physical, mental and social health services across NSW and the ACT.
