We are seeking an accomplished Project Manager to join a well-established team delivering a high‑profile on‑site project based in Portland, Victoria. This role will suit a delivery‑focused leader with extensive end‑to‑end project experience and a strong track record executing complex projects safely, on time and within budget. In this role, you will provide strong leadership, governance and hands‑on project management to drive delivery outcomes and ensure completion in line with contractual obligations. Responsibilities: Accountable for end‑to‑end delivery of a high‑profile brownfield project from detailed design through construction, commissioning and handover to Operations, in line with approved budget and schedule. Lead and influence project development decisions in collaboration with Worley and customer teams to ensure technical integrity, constructability, operability, HSE and whole‑of‑life cost considerations are embedded. Provide proactive interface management, coordination and communication across all parties to ensure alignment and timely access to accurate information. Maintain strong ongoing engagement with customer stakeholders to secure support and enable effective project execution. Monitor and control project performance across risk, quality, cost and schedule to deliver positive outcomes. Act as the primary interface with the customer procurement team to ensure timely delivery of equipment, materials and contractor services. Coordinate and resolve interface issues across engineering, operations, construction and commissioning. Lead the development of installation and commissioning methodologies in collaboration with Construction and Operations teams. Candidate criteria: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (or equivalent); Project Management qualification highly regarded. Ability to work on‑site at Portland, VIC (locally based or willing to relocate for the project duration). Extensive end‑to‑end project management experience delivering complex CAPEX works in heavy industry and brownfield environments. Proven track record delivering large‑scale projects through to handover in live operational environments. Strong leadership and stakeholder management capability, with credibility to influence senior leaders, contractors and cross‑functional teams. Solid working knowledge of project controls and governance, including scheduling, cost control, risk management, reporting, procurement and contract management.
