Your Role as Lead Nurse Practitioner We are seeking a Lead Nurse Practitioner to deliver advanced, autonomous paediatric care at Hummingbird House. In this key leadership role, you will manage complex clinical presentations, collaborate closely with the multidisciplinary team, and provide supervision and governance for Nurse Practitioner Candidates and advanced practice nurses. You will help deliver safe, high‑quality, family‑centred care for children with life‑limiting conditions across Queensland, while upholding the Mission, Vision, and Values of Wesley Mission Queensland. Ability to practise autonomously in complex clinical environments. Proven clinical leadership, including supervision and mentorship of Nurse Practitioner Candidates. Strong clinical reasoning, decision‑making, and communication skills. Commitment to quality improvement, safety, research, and evidence‑based practice Essential Requirements Proof of COVID-19 vaccination status (or as required by legislation and WMQ policy) Relevant probity checks required by legislation and WMQ Limited policy.
