Your New Role and Responsibilities Develop and manage support system requirements for maritime platforms, ensuring alignment with operational, safety, and sustainment needs. Contribute to the transition from requirements development to support system design, working closely with engineering and project teams. Support the delivery of a critical maritime engineering project, ensuring supportability considerations are embedded throughout the lifecycle. Assist in the development of safety-critical operational procedures and sustainment strategies to support long-term platform operation. Be based in Canberra or Newcastle What You’ll Bring to Make a n Impact Experience in systems engineering or support system engineering, ideally within maritime, defence, or complex engineering environments. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and deliver outcomes with limited supervision. Knowledge of reliability engineering, safety engineering, or infrastructure operations and sustainment (highly regarded). Ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and communicate technical requirements clearly to stakeholders.
