With accelerating growth and an expanding slate of projects, the finance team plays a critical role in supporting productions, managing rebate schemes and ensuring strong financial governance. The Opportunity Reporting to the Finance Manager, this newly created role provides hands-on accounting support across day-to-day finance operations, government rebate processes and production expenditure analysis. It is an exceptional entry point for an ambitious accountant seeking industry exposure, development and long-term growth in the film sector. Key Responsibilities: Assist with the preparation, submission and acquittal of government film production rebates Prepare cost reports, general ledgers and reconciliations, ensuring audit-ready documentation Analyse production expenditure and support preparation of rebate packs and qualitative reports Liaise with auditors, state bodies and rebate assessors to resolve queries and validate data Support month-end close, bookkeeping tasks and maintenance of accurate financial records Coordinate multiple deadlines, ensuring compliance with rebate guidelines and internal processes About You Detail-oriented, organised and eager to learn, with foundational accounting experience, strong communication skills and a genuine interest in the film industry. Bachelor’s degree or Tafe education in accounting is required.
