Job Description Reporting to the Regional General Manager, you will manage all operations across Victoria and Tasmania, ensuring the region consistently delivers on safety, service, financial performance, customer outcomes and employee engagement. You will lead managers across Sales, Field Operations, and Administration and work closely with the regional executive team to execute growth, compliance and operational strategies. Lead the development and execution of strategic initiatives to achieve organisational goals. Oversee operations to ensure efficiency, quality, and compliance with industry standards. Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders and business partners. Provide leadership and guidance to departmental heads and teams to foster a high-performance culture. Identify opportunities for growth and drive business development strategies. Monitor financial performance and implement measures to meet revenue and profit targets. Managing state programs, incentive structures and succession planning Ensure effective risk management and adherence to regulatory requirements. Represent the organisation at industry events and forums to enhance its profile. The Successful Applicant A successful professional should have: Proven experience in a senior leadership role within the Industrial, Manufacturing, or engineering industry. A strong track record of being a senior leader who is commercially sharp, financially literate, culturally influential, and hands‑on in operations. You could also be a CFO/FD/Commercial Manager with a strong track record of driving operational performance and seeking a move to a very operational General Manager position. A strong track record of lifting capability and shifting mindsets across a large team. Strong strategic and operational management skills. Excellent financial acumen and the ability to drive business growth. Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills. A track record of successfully managing diverse teams and fostering collaboration. A relevant tertiary qualification in business, engineering, or a related field.
