Purpose of the role The purpose of the Men’s Shed Volunteer role is to create a welcoming, social, and purposeful space where residents, especially men, can connect, share skills, and enjoy hands‑on activities that spark meaning and camaraderie. Through woodworking, tinkering, tool‑based projects, conversations, and shared hobbies, volunteers help foster a sense of belonging, support emotional wellbeing, and encourage residents to stay active and engaged.
