About the role The Family Accommodation Program supports families who are facing or experiencing homelessness, helping them stabilise, rebuild and move toward long-term independence. As a Support Worker, you will walk alongside families during a vulnerable chapter of their lives, offering practical support, advocacy and encouragement as they work toward safe and sustainable housing. This role is ideal for someone who is compassionate, organised and confident working with families who may be navigating trauma, crisis or complex challenges. You will support a Caseworker with a caseload of approximately 10–15 families, providing person-centred, strengths-based support that empowers them to regain stability and self-reliance. This is a part-time position for 2-days per week, which will be agreed with the successful candidate, based at Balga Corps, with travel required to visit families in their accommodation. Pay is in accordance with SCHADS Level 4.
