Department for Health and Wellbeing – Commissioning and Performance – Performance Unit Salary: $125,649 to $130,392 – AS08 – Full Time / Term Contract up to 8 Months (With the Possibility of Extension / Ongoing Role) Overview: The Performance Manager is responsible for: Leading the development of strategies and initiatives to increase performance and accountability across the South Australian public health system including Local Health Networks (LHNs), South Australia Ambulance Service (SAAS) and Statewide Clinical Support Services (SCSS)) Developing and maintaining a robust performance framework and reporting mechanism, inclusive of intelligent and informed narrative, and performance benchmarking. Modelling appropriate leadership and professionalism and using initiative and judgement to deliver complex tasks Operating as the interface between the Department for Health and Wellbeing (DHW) and the LHNs, SAAS, SCSS and other Government Agencies to facilitate a partnership approach to support the achievement of key objectives and performance improvement strategies. Special Conditions An appropriate tertiary level qualification in health or relevant related discipline or project management, or comparable experience in a similar position. Experience in Health research, design, implementation and evaluation processes and Health Service experience at senior management level is desired. Highly developed change management experience, including demonstrated success in transformational change with multiple stakeholders.
