Our commitment lies in delivering in-home services 7 days a week for Support At Home recipients and 5 days a week for CHSP recipients. We prioritize trust and continuity by guaranteeing our clients consistent home carers and scheduled services, thereby upholding their well-being and dignity. Description The role: As a Qualified Support Worker, you will assist elderly individuals to achieve their goals and maximizing their independence. This is a rewarding role where you will: Ensure client safety and wellbeing. Provide personal care (bathing, grooming, toileting, and dressing). Support independence and daily living activities. Medication reminders and basic health monitoring. Domestic assistance (cleaning, laundry, meal prep). Build meaningful relationships with clients. Assist clients to access community resources. Collaborate with the care team. Maintain accurate documentation and reports. Hours/Availability: Preferred days: Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday Minimum availability: 8:00 am – 2:00 pm Potential to work up to 5 days per week Ability to work weekends when required Skills And Experiences Qualifications: Certificate III in Individual Support Work or Aged Care Essential: Current Motor Vehicle licence and a reliable car Current National Police Clearance (or willingness to obtain) Current First Aid / CPR certificate (or willingness to obtain) Ability to perform manual handling and personal care tasks safely Ability to follow care plans and organizational policies Willingness to undergo relevant training and certifications Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends if required Competencies: Fluent and clear English communication skills. Above average verbal and written communication skills. Proficiency in IT and phone app skills. Above average interpersonal skills. Average problem-solving skills. Proven attention to detail.
