Working in partnership with inpatient, community and rehabilitation services, you’ll help consumers build independence, skills and social connection. The role is primarily clinical, with opportunities to contribute to teaching, research and service improvement. You’ll also mentor and support less experienced staff while ensuring care aligns with national mental health standards. You’ll be a proactive team player who values collaboration, continuous learning and recovery-oriented practice. To be successful in this role, you will bring: Qualifications & Experience – Registered as a Nurse with the Nursing & Midwifery Board of Australia, holding a current practising certificate and a Graduate Diploma in Mental Health Nursing, with at least three years of post-registration experience. Leadership & Problem-Solving Skills – Strong ability to lead, mentor and manage competing priorities with professionalism and initiative. Collaboration & Consumer Focus – Commitment to person-centred care, teamwork and strong engagement with consumers, carers and community partners Knowledge & Best Practice – Understanding of recovery principles, clinical rehabilitation frameworks, and current mental health legislation and standards.
