Synergie Australia is seeking Mechanical Technicians to join our team for our FIFO client located in the Northern Territory. The important parts: 2:1 FIFO roster with charter points from Darwin $55-$60 per hour (flat rate), shifts will be 9-10 hours each in duration Immediate start with ongoing employment opportunities for the right candidate What you will be required to do: Undertake mechanical refits and new build installations, servicing and installation of hydraulic, water cooling and electrical systems, complete servicing and overhauls on pearling equipment as required Complete daily time sheets, sign work instructions on completion of job, fill in materials list as job progresses. Maintain a clean and tidy work area, be responsible for Company equipment and tools you use to complete daily tasks. Comply with all Northern Territory and Western Australian Legislation, USL Code and company OH&S systems in your workplace Provide and maintain your own tools necessary to carry out an effective trade service within your workplace Work in the field as part of the field service team and w ork Unsupervised On call for breakdown maintenance on pearl farms On call for relief engineers’ duties To be successful in the role you will: Current High-Risk Licenses Fork Lift, Working at Heights, Confined Space and or marine qualifications MED 2 / Master 5 You will need to be deemed as Competent (VOC) by the Engineering Manager for the following - Engine Diagnostics and Repair Low Voltage Electrical Repair and Diagnostics Hydraulic System Repair and Diagnostics Synergie Australia delivers a full 360º recruitment solution, consisting of temporary and permanent recruitment services , and more.
