About the role Red Cross Emergency Services aims to assist individuals and communities before, during and after an emergency or event, to cope with and manage the psychosocial impacts of emergencies. The Resilience Officer is responsible for supporting the development and delivery of targeted initiatives aimed at enhancing the resilience of individuals, households, and communities. The role involves assisting in the implementation of evidence-based resources, training, and community activities to build capacity to anticipate, respond to, and recover from disasters and crises. The Resilience Officer will also support efforts to increase sector knowledge and understanding of disaster impacts, preparedness, and the psychosocial needs of affected populations.
