About the Role As a Registered Nurse – Scrub Scout , you will: Deliver safe, evidence‑based perioperative nursing care Provide high‑quality scrub and scout support across a range of specialties Collaborate closely with surgeons, anaesthetists and multidisciplinary teams Ensure patient and staff safety at all times Proactively evaluate and improve perioperative care outcomes Maintain accurate, timely and professional clinical documentation Contribute to a positive patient experience from admission through recovery Essential Criteria Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse Minimum 3 years’ experience in a perioperative setting Scrub/Scout experience (Neurosurgery or Orthopaedics highly regarded) Postgraduate Certificate in Perioperative Nursing (or working towards) Demonstrated commitment to quality and patient‑centred care Strong communication, time management and organisational skills Ability to work both independently and as part of a high‑performing team Excellent problem‑solving and computer skills Compliance with ACQSHC National Standards Why Healthscope?
