Job description The Opportunity With over 30 years in the construction industry, this South Australian builder has built a reputation for quality delivery, strong client relationships, and a people-first culture. They deliver a diverse range of projects across commercial, education, government, aged-care, and recreation sectors, valued up to $5M. This Senior Site Manager role is a unique opportunity to also take on Construction Management duties. Therefore, you will not only lead your own projects but also oversee and support the wider team, playing a key role in the business’s continued growth and succession planning. The Role As a Senior Site Manager, you will take on a broader leadership position across multiple projects. Your responsibilities will include: Overseeing the delivery of projects up to $5M from site establishment through to completion Managing and mentoring a small team of Site Managers, providing guidance and support Coordinating subcontractors, site teams, and project logistics across multiple sites Ensuring high standards of quality, safety, and programme delivery are consistently met Driving strong communication across internal teams, clients, and stakeholders Contributing to planning, resourcing, and overall project performance The Ideal Candidate To succeed in this role, you will bring: A strong trade background with proven experience as a Site Manager on commercial projects Experience delivering projects up to $3M–$5M in value Leadership capability, with the confidence to oversee and support other Site Managers A proactive mindset and ambition to transition into a Construction Manager role Strong communication and relationship-building skills across all project stakeholders This is an ideal opportunity for a Senior Site Manager ready to step into a more strategic and leadership-focused role within a supportive and well-established builder.
