Protech is currently seeking experienced Operators to join our team at Thiess – Olive Downs Complex Olive Downs Complex is a greenfield project located 40 kilometres South-East of Moranbah. Thiess have been awarded a contract to deliver full-service mining operations, including mine planning overburden removal, drill and blast, load and haul, water management and rehabilitation as well as the construction of the mine infrastructure. About the role: Reporting to the Production Superintendent, you will be responsible for the safe operation of heavy mobile plant onsite at the Olive Downs Complex. You will work collaboratively with your crew and the wider site team towards delivering safe, high-quality results. We have multiple vacancies for the following skillsets: Experienced Haul Truck Operators (Operating CAT 789) Experienced Excavator Operators (Operating 9600, 996 and 9800 Excavators) What’s in it for you: How exciting! Experience in hard rock mining operation desirable.
