About the role We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Skin Cancer Doctor to join our thriving medical practice, the Maitland Skin Cancer Clinic, located in Maitland, NSW 2320. As a contract position, this is an excellent opportunity for a skilled medical professional to contribute their expertise in the diagnosis and treatment of skin cancers. You will play a vital role in ensuring our patients receive the highest quality of care. What you'll be doing Conducting comprehensive skin examinations and identifying potential skin cancer lesions Performing skin biopsies, minor surgical procedures, and other treatments as required Providing exceptional patient care and support, fostering a positive and compassionate environment What we're looking for Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners Certificate in dermoscopy Certificate in skin cancer surgery Demonstrated expertise in performing skin examinations, biopsies, and minor surgical procedures Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust and rapport with patients Commitment to ongoing professional development and staying up-to-date with the latest advancements in dermatology
