Key Responsibilities: Work with an experienced multidisciplinary allied health team Assess, treat and manage patients with acute/chronic musculoskeletal / sport injuries, cardiorespiratory, disability, neurological disorder, post- operative rehabilitation, return to sport performance Performing muscle, nerve, joint and functional tests to identify, assess and form an accurate diagnosis of the physical problems of clients Design treatment programs to address clients' problems and goals Treat clients to reduce pain, improve circulation, strengthen muscles, improve cardiothoracic, cardiovascular and respiratory functions, restore joint mobility, and improve balance and coordination Utilising different therapeutic properties of manual therapy, exercise, massage, manipulation, hydrotherapy, electrotherapy in the treatment of clients Reviewing, continuous monitoring, assessing and re-evaluating treatment programs Consulting with other Health Professionals as required about clients' problems, needs and progress Providing guidance towards clients and their families in procedures to be followed at home Accurately recording each client's treatments that was provided and their response and progress Developing and implementing screening and preventative health promotion programs Providing individualised exercise prescription programs when applicable Carry out administration tasks and actively assist in marketing such as newsletters, articles photography and social media Position Requirements: Must have a Bachelor, Master or /Doctor of Physiotherapy qualification Current AHPRA registration APA registered Current validated first aid Current driver's license Positive and strong work ethic, professionalism and eagerness to learn Excellent communication skills and time management skills Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team After Hours Requirements: No About Beaudesert and Jimboomba: The Beaudesert region has experienced rapid growth with a number of large developments including Bromelton Industrial Park which is expanding the population significantly.
