We are seeking an experienced Quality Assurance Inspector to join our Victorian Home Assurance team, supporting the delivery of high quality, compliant homes across the state. This permanent, full-time role will see you conducting structured quality inspections at key construction milestones across Henley and ReadyBuilt homes. To support you in the role, Henley provides a fully maintained company vehicle, iPad and mobile phone. About the Role Reporting to the Home Assurance Manager, you will play a critical role in protecting build quality, safety and compliance throughout the construction process. Drawing on your strong residential construction background, you will assess workmanship and materials against company standards, statutory requirements and warranty obligations. Your focus will be on identifying risks early, providing clear and practical feedback to site teams, and ensuring homes are delivered to handover in line with Henley’s quality benchmarks. Key Responsibilities Conduct Quality Assurance inspections at defined critical stages of construction. Complete the following inspections and issue detailed, timely reports to Construction Supervisors, Construction Managers and the Victorian Quality, Warranty and Handover Manager: QA3 : Plaster complete, prior to painting. QA4 : Final inspection prior to customer handover. Verify compliance with all relevant legal and regulatory requirements, including: OH&S obligations Building Code of Australia Victorian building regulations Energy efficiency, fire and electrical standards Clearly document defects, non-conformances and recommendations using Henley systems. Build effective working relationships with internal stakeholders and external partners to support efficient issue resolution and consistent outcomes. About You You are an experienced construction professional with a strong eye for detail and a genuine commitment to quality. You bring a practical, solutions focused approach and are confident working autonomously across multiple sites. You will demonstrate: Extensive experience in residential construction, ideally across volume housing. Trade qualification or equivalent hands-on building experience. Strong working knowledge of ResCode, Australian Standards and the Building Code of Australia. Sound understanding of construction methods, sequencing and quality benchmarks. Ability to read and interpret plans, specifications, contracts and tender inclusions. Clear written communication skills with the ability to produce thorough, professional inspection reports. Confident stakeholder engagement skills, including the ability to provide constructive feedback to site teams and support positive customer outcomes.
