Technical Service Superintendent WA - Large-Scale Open Pit Operation We are currently partnering with a long-life, large-scale open-pit mining operation in WA, seeking an experienced Mining Engineer to lead a well-established technical services function. This is a site-critical leadership role, overseeing planning, geology, and survey, within a complex, integrated mining environment where planning accuracy, team leadership, and alignment to operational performance are key to success. Reporting into site leadership, you will be responsible for: Leading and mentoring team leads across Engineering, Geology, and Survey Driving a strong safety culture and ensuring compliance with site safety standards Delivering accurate and timely mine plans, designs, and schedules Maintaining planning, geology, and survey systems and procedures Coordinating with stakeholders to ensure mine plan achievement Monitoring plan performance and cost KPIs Delivering Life-of-Mine plans and supporting Reserve and Resource models in line with industry standards To be successful in this role, you will bring: Degree qualification in Mining Engineering Strong experience in open pit mine planning, scheduling, and design Proven leadership capability within a technical services environment Hands-on experience with mine planning and geology software systems Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills Solid technical reporting and presentation capability Understanding of geological models and their application to planning A continuous improvement mindset and practical, solutions-focused approach What’s on Offer Permanent FIFO opportunity with a long-life mining operation Exposure to a technically complex and integrated mining environment Strong safety culture and collaborative team environment Competitive salary package with performance incentives Ongoing training and development opportunities Please click the link to apply.
