Walcha Council Casual Walcha Council is seeking a passionate and enthusiastic Casual Preschool Educator to join our dynamic team. We are looking for an individual who believes in our vision of nurturing and educating out preschool-aged children in a happy, safe and stimulating environment. Key Duties & Responsibilities Plan and implement educational programs for our children that align with the Early Years Learning Framework. Develop children's social; skills and encourage positive behaviour. Communicate effectively with children, families and team members about children's learning progress. Maintain health and safety standards of the preschool. Supervise children during indoor and outdoor activities. Perform administrative tasks, such as maintaining children's records, including daily observations and child development reports. Ensure individual needs of children are met (e.g. dietary, sleep, etc.) Attend and participate in staff meetings and professional development activities as and when required. What You’ll Bring Certificate III or Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care Current Working with Children Check. Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis Training. Comprehensive understanding of the Early Years Learning framework. Proven experience working in an early learning setting. Positive, friendly and approachable personality with exceptional communication skills. Ability to work with others in a team environment. Continued commitment to professional development and learning. What We Offer This is a Casual position starting at $31.3184 (gross) per hour superannuation based on Band 1 Level 4, Grade 3 of the Local Government (State) Award 2023.
