The right candidate will be responsible for: Lead and oversee kitchen operations, ensuring the consistent delivery of high-quality degustation menus; Collaborate on the creation and refinement of seasonal menus, highlighting local and estate-grown produce; Apply and supervise advanced cooking techniques in line with contemporary fine-dining standards; Manage and mentor kitchen staff, including training on cooking methods, plating, and service execution; Maintain strict cost control, portioning, and waste minimisation practices; Ensure full compliance with food safety, hygiene, and WHS regulations; Coordinate kitchen workflow during service to ensure timing, consistency, and presentation meet premium standards; Liaise with front-of-house team to deliver a seamless and elevated dining experience; Oversee preparation and cooking of high-quality ingredients, including meat, seafood, and seasonal produce; Manage stock control, ordering, and supplier relationships, focusing on quality and sustainability; Supervise rostering and overall kitchen staffing requirements; About you: At least 1 year of experience as a Chef; Advanced culinary expertise with strong leadership and kitchen management capabilities; Proven ability to lead, supervise, and coordinate kitchen teams and service operations efficiently; High level of creativity in menu development, with the ability to guide and support chefs during service; Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with both kitchen and front-of-house teams; Job type: Permanent/full-time Salary: $76,000 - $82,000
