You’ll be working across: Parenting and custody matters Property settlements and financial disputes Divorce and separation Domestic violence matters Court appearances and negotiations You will also have the opportunity to: Mentor junior lawyers Contribute to strategy and firm growth Build strong, long-term client relationships Duties: Lead and manage a portfolio of complex family law matters from start to finish. Provide high-level client advice, negotiation and advocacy in the Federal Circuit & Family Court of Australia. Draft and review detailed legal documents, including consent orders, financial agreements, property settlement proposals, parenting plans and court applications. Mentor, develop and support junior lawyers and associates. Contribute to firm growth initiatives, business development and client relationship strategy. About You: 2 years post-admission experience in family law (or equivalent). Strong technical knowledge in family law, including financial and parenting matters. Confidence in managing files independently and making strategic decisions. Excellent advocacy, negotiation and interpersonal skills. A collaborative mindset and a desire to contribute to a positive workplace culture. Location Flexibility This role is primarily based in Chermside ; however, flexibility is available for candidates located closer to Brisbane’s northern suburbs.
