We operate as a multidisciplinary clinic, with psychologists working collaboratively alongside an in-house paediatrician and allied health clinicians to support integrated clinical management. Our model prioritises clinical collaboration, shared decision-making, and high-quality outcomes for children and families. The Role We are seeking an experienced Registered Psychologist to join our paediatric team in a predominantly assessment-focused role, with flexibility to also deliver therapeutic interventions as clinic demand requires. While assessment work will form a significant component of this role, HealthSync Care functions as an integrated clinic, and psychologists are supported to contribute across both assessment and intervention streams to ensure continuity of care and responsiveness to client needs. This role will suit a psychologist who: Has strong assessment and reporting capability. Is comfortable delivering intervention alongside assessment work. Values clinical collaboration within a multidisciplinary team. Key Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive paediatric psychological assessments, including cognitive, behavioural, attention and developmental evaluations. Administer, interpret and report on standardised assessment tools relevant to paediatric practice. Prepare clear, high-quality assessment reports with practical, family-centred recommendations. Deliver evidence-based psychological interventions where clinic demand requires Participate in collaborative case discussions with the in-house paediatrician and multidisciplinary team Provide feedback and guidance to families following assessments and therapy Contribute to clinical quality, consistency and best practice across assessment and intervention services What We’re Looking For Full registration as a Psychologist with AHPRA Minimum 3–4 years post-registration experience Demonstrated experience in paediatric psychological assessment and report writing Confidence in delivering therapeutic interventions with children and adolescents Experience working with neurodevelopmental presentations (e.g. ADHD, autism, learning difficulties) Strong communication skills and a collaborative, family-centred approach Working With Children Check and professional indemnity insurance What We Offer Full-time role preferred, with part-time (minimum 3 days per week) considered for the right candidate An assessment-led role with intervention flexibility, rather than a siloed model Collaborative clinical environment with direct access to an in-house paediatrician Structured assessment frameworks, templates, and strong administrative support Balanced caseloads responsive to clinic demand Supportive multidisciplinary team and strong clinical governance Competitive remuneration aligned with experience and contribution Opportunity to focus on high-quality clinical work without practice management burden
