About us Located in VIC 3564, J J & T L PEARSE is a family run dairy farm seeking for two full-time Dairy Cattle Farm Operators to join our dynamic team. Job responsibilities Operate, monitor, and maintain modern dairy milking systems and related equipment Observe livestock health and behaviour, reporting any issues promptly. Operate farm machinery safely, conduct routine equipment checks, and assist with basic maintenance and adjustments. Monitor and record data such as milk production, milk vat temperatures, and herd numbers Maintain accurate and current farm records, including herd data and feed inventory Use computerized farm systems and standard measuring equipment in daily operations Apply basic scientific concepts and terminology to daily farming tasks Support artificial insemination programs and assist with fertilizer application when required Collaborate with supervisors and team members to ensure smooth daily operations Comply with all Workplace Health and Safety (WHS) requirements and uphold animal welfare standards What we are looking for Relevant qualifications and/or demonstrate practical, hands‑on experience in dairy or livestock farming Work effectively both independently and within a collaborative team environment Manage time efficiently and maintain a high level of attention to detail Sustain the physical fitness required to perform the daily demands of farm work What we offer A competitive annual salary of $69,000 plus superannuation.
