6 Months Contract to begin, with extension possibilities Up to $1k per day daily rate Impactful role Role Title: UX Designer Role Type: 6 Months Contract to begin, with extension possibilities Location: Brisbane, QLD Work Arrangement: Hybrid About the Role Hudson is partnering with an established organisation to seek for an experienced UX Designer to shape how users interact with reports, dashboards, and data-driven insights. This role is focused on designing clear, intuitive user experiences that empower users to understand complex information and make confident, informed decisions. Key Responsibilities Design user-centred reporting experiences based on how different user groups consume and interpret data Translate business questions and analytical requirements into simple, intuitive interface designs Develop clear layouts, visual hierarchies, and interaction patterns across dashboards and reporting tools Design and optimise interactions such as filtering, drill-downs, and data comparisons to support analytical workflows Ensure designs align with enterprise standards, design systems, and brand guidelines Collaborate closely with stakeholders, analysts, and technical teams to align design outcomes with business and data needs Facilitate workshops and design reviews to validate concepts and gather early feedback Clearly communicate design decisions, trade-offs, and recommendations to both technical and non-technical audiences Skills and Experience Essential Strong UX and visual design experience, particularly across dashboards or data-heavy interfaces Solid understanding of layout, hierarchy, and information design principles Proven ability to simplify complex data and analytical concepts into intuitive user experiences Experience working with multiple stakeholders in large or complex organisational environments Desirable Experience designing for analytics, reporting, or operational insights platforms Familiarity with design systems and scalable UX patterns Understanding of how users interpret charts, tables, and comparative data Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in UX Design, Interaction Design, Visual Design, Information Design, or a related field Demonstrated experience in UX or visual design roles, ideally focused on reporting or insight-driven products Experience working in Agile or iterative delivery environment Please reach out to me via isabelle.ho2@hudson.com with your contact number and resume (in Microsoft word format) should you be interested.
