About The Role We are seeking DataCentre Security Officers to join our team at a data centre environment in Deer Park This role requires strong technical aptitude, attention to detail, and the ability to operate confidently within secure, procedure-driven environments. Key Responsibilities Conduct security screening of all personnel entering and exiting restricted areas Ensure compliance with all site Security Procedures & Policies Identify prohibited items and prevent unauthorised access or removal Issue and audit visitor and contractor badges in line with security protocols Raise and modify access requests using client software systems Monitor and operate access control and CCTV systems Escalate incidents appropriately and complete detailed daily activity reports Conduct internal and external foot patrols Maintain professional communication with stakeholders and clients Role Expectations Moderate to advanced computer skills (Word, Excel, Chrome and similar platforms) Confident keyboard typing ability (essential for reporting and system use) Ability to quickly learn and operate access control and CCTV monitoring software Strong written report writing skills Physically fit and able to conduct internal and external patrols on foot Strong de-escalation and conflict resolution skills High level of reliability and punctuality Availability to work weekdays and weekends, days and nights Desired Skills And Experience Skills and Experience Current NSW Security Licence Australian Citizenship is required Current First Aid and CPR Certificate Previous experience in a data centre or high-security environment (desirable) Strong communication and customer service skills Professional presentation and conduct Benefits And Perks Career growth opportunities within a global company Access to Securitas rewards Professional uniform provided Diversity and Inclusion: At Securitas, we embrace diversity and are committed to providing equal employment opportunities for all.
