About We are partnering with a large, complex organisation undergoing a significant security uplift, seeking a Cyber Security Architect to play a key role in strengthening their security landscape. This is a 12-month contract offering a competitive day rate, with strong executive visibility and the opportunity to influence meaningful change across the organisation. You’ll be responsible for assessing current capability and defining a clear, practical security architecture aligned to recognised frameworks such as NIST. Key Responsibilities Conduct security capability assessments across applications and infrastructure; Benchmark and align to frameworks (e.g. NIST); Define and uplift security architecture across key domains; Provide high-level architecture guidance, with the ability to deep dive when required; Partner with senior stakeholders, including Exec Director level, to drive outcomes; and Drive security across all layers, from identity and access to network, data, and DevSecOps pipelines. What We Are Looking For Proven experience as a Cyber Security Architect within complex environments; Strong understanding of security frameworks and benchmarking (NIST preferred); Broad domain expertise across core security pillars; Experience across cloud, on-prem and hybrid environments; Familiarity with the following technologies: Palo Alto Networks, Microsoft Azure / Azure Stack, Okta, CrowdStrike, Snyk; and Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
