About the Project
UGL is delivering the Lighting Campaign 2026, supporting critical electrical infrastructure across Queensland. This campaign requires experienced EEHA Electricians who know their trade, value safety, and want reliable work for a defined period.
About the role
We’re looking for 2 local EEHA Electricians to join our Electrical Maintenance team for a 5‑month campaign, commencing 18 May 2026.
You’ll be working hands‑on delivering electrical and lighting works in hazardous area environments. This role suits technicians who are safety‑focused, technically competent, and comfortable working on active sites.
Employment type: Casual – Level 6 Electrical Technician
Duration: Approx. 5 months
What we offer
- $73.80 per hour + Super
- 8.89‑hour days
- 8.0 hours at Normal Time
- 0.89 hours paid at Time & a Half (daily)
- Paid overtime where applicable
- All PPE provided

Key responsibilities
- Carry out Lighting maintenance and rectification works in hazardous areas
- Work safely and comply with EEHA, site, and UGL safety standards
- Complete tasks efficiently to meet campaign timelines
- Maintain accurate documentation and competency records
About you – Mandatory requirements
You must have:
- QLD Electrical Licence (or equivalent)
- Certificate III in Electrical Fitting (UEE33020) or trade equivalent
- Construction White Card – CPCWHS101
- QLD C Class Driver Licence
- Low Voltage Rescue & CPR
- UETDRMP018 / HLTAID009
- Statement of Attainment for HLTAID001 & UETTDRRF06 (valid within 12 months)
- EEHA Units of Competency
- Statement of Attainment or UEE42622 Certificate IV in Hazardous Areas – Electrical
Desirable
- Boom‑type or Scissor Lift EWP High Risk Licence
- Working at Heights – RIIWHS204 (valid within 24 months)
