Hospitality Stock Control Manager, Melbourne Airport Job Locations AU-VIC-Melbourne Airport Job ID 2026-50588 Function Food & Beverage Position Type Permanent Time Type Full-time Posting End Date 26/4/2026 The opportunity Delaware North Australia is seeking a Stock Control Manager to take ownership of the end‑to‑end stores function at Melbourne Airport, including receiving, storage and distribution of stock across multiple food and beverage outlets. You’ll ensure inventory accuracy, product availability and compliance with internal procedures that support high‑volume hospitality operations. You’ll lead and develop a small stores team, with a strong focus on stock control, inventory integrity, HACCP food safety standards and OHS compliance. This role is critical to supporting smooth, high‑volume hospitality operations in a fast‑paced airport environment. This role is ideal for a detail‑oriented hospitality or food and beverage professional with strong experience in stores, warehouse and inventory management. This is a non‑customer‑facing role, focused on operational support of food and beverage venues rather than sales. Manage the inward and outward dispatch of goods, including temperature checks and quality control Receive, distribute and transfer physical inventory across operational departments Maintain accurate delivery logs and reconcile deliveries against purchase orders Oversee stock rotation and ensure cleanliness of all cool rooms and store areas Maintain strong stock security and ensure compliance with stores procedures Oversee HACCP and OHS compliance within the stores function Manage ongoing inventory control and reporting Identify and communicate supplier, quality or delivery issues to the General Manager and Operations Manager Lead, motivate and develop a diverse team to achieve departmental goals More about you Demonstrated experience in a stores, warehousing or inventory management role Experience within a food and beverage or hospitality environment is advantageous Strong leadership skills with the ability to delegate and provide clear, concise direction Experience recruiting, training, mentoring and developing teams Sound understanding of HACCP, food safety and workplace health and safety requirements Strong manual handling capability Proficient numeracy and literacy skills Experience using inventory or database management systems Highly organised with strong time management skills Food Safety Certificate Ability to work a Monday – Friday roster, with flexibility of weekends primarily for the purpose of monthly stock counts The application period will close on 26/04/2026, unless a successful qualified candidate is identified sooner.
