Based in Cairns, travel will be required. Coxswains 3 or higher would be ideal. We are seeking a wildlife officer who is able to work collaboratively in a team, with experience in leading a small team. The team operates in remote northern Queensland to deliver services to conserve and protect native and threatened wildlife and associated habitat. Travel will be required, however you would be based out Cairns. The preferred candidate will have a minimum of coxswain 3 and able to obtain a coxswain 2 within 6 months of employment. A broad skill set in operational tasks and equipment use and maintenance in remote isolated areas, along with proficient administrative skill set would be ideal.
