Due to ongoing business growth, we are seeking an experienced Floor Finisher to join our team. About the Role This is a hands-on role involving floor preparation, installation, finishing, and maintenance. The successful applicant will work across a range of sites and materials, ensuring all work is completed to a high standard and in accordance with safety and quality requirements. Key Responsibilities Prepare surfaces for floor installation, including sanding, levelling, and cleaning Install and finish various flooring materials, including timber, vinyl, laminate, or similar Apply coatings, sealants, and finishes as required Operate tools and machinery safely and efficiently Read and follow job specifications, plans, and instructions Ensure work meets quality standards and project timelines Maintain a clean and safe work environment on site Liaise with supervisors and team members to complete projects efficiently About You Certificate III in relevant field or three years relevant work experience Proven experience as a Floor Finisher or in a similar flooring trade role Strong practical skills and attention to detail Ability to work independently and as part of a team Good understanding of workplace health and safety requirements Reliable, punctual, and professional work ethic Construction White Card (or willingness to obtain) Driver licence preferred What We Offer Ongoing full-time employment Competitive remuneration based on skills and experience Supportive team environment Opportunity to work on diverse projects
